🔁 Practical Guide

Set up a message Relay between servers

Connect channels with safe permissions and verify the direction and features before sharing real messages.

Build a connection

  1. Invite Bozos Relay to each participating server; enable Message Content Intent for the bot.
  2. Open the Relay Studio using /setup in Discord, then choose your server and channels.
  3. Select one-way or two-way delivery. Each Relay can include up to six channels.
  4. Review destination permissions, including Manage Webhooks and the permissions required to send content.
  5. Save and send a harmless test message from a human account in the source channel.

Message not arriving?

Verify that the configured source and destination channels still exist and that the bot can view message history in the source. A destination with a broken webhook, missing permission, or a rate limit may show as degraded or broken in the dashboard. Free allows no active routes: choose Starter, Plus or Premium for live relaying.

Why did my edit or deletion stop syncing?

Relay keeps message-ID mappings temporarily so later edits and deletes can be matched. Starter keeps them for 7 days, Plus for 14 days, and Premium for 30 days. Older changes may not sync after their mapping expires. Relay does not keep a copy of the ordinary message text in Supabase.

Privacy and safety

Private threads and bot/webhook messages aren't mirrored by the current runtime. Relay suppresses mention parsing on destination copies. Avoid bridging any channel containing private content to unauthorized audiences.
