Plan server messages ahead of time

Bozos Forever gives server Administrators a built-in scheduled-message workflow for announcements, reminders and planned updates.

Who can use it?

The scheduling commands are restricted to server Administrators and can be turned off for a server from the dashboard.

Create a schedule

/schedulemessage asks for a text channel, an IST date/time and the message. The accepted time format is YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm.

Manage pending messages

  • /scheduledlist shows pending scheduled messages and IDs.
  • /editschedule changes the channel, time or message.
  • /cancelschedule removes a pending message by ID.

What is needed while pending?

While a schedule is pending, Bozos needs the server ID, target channel ID, scheduled message text, scheduled time and creator's user ID to deliver/manage that schedule. Successfully sent schedules are removed from the pending system.
